After being mentioned as potential suitors for the Porto captain Hector Herrera, Arsenal have now set sights on another Dragons’ star Yacine Brahimi.
Just like his fellow teammate, Brahimi could be leaving the Estadio do Dragao next summer.
The 28-year-old’s contract with Porto runs out at the end of the season, and he has already held some initial talks with several Premier League outfits.
Manchester United and Everton have already initiated contacts with Brahimi’s entourage, but the Gunners have now joined the race.

Unai Emery is well aware of the current situation over Aaron Ramsey’s imminent departure and has to make the most out of the January transfer session.
Therefore, the Spaniard could be stepping up his interest in the former France U-21s international already this winter.
Arrived at Porto from Granada in 2014, the Algeria international has established himself as one of the best playmakers in the Portuguese Primera Liga.
A prominent technique and an incredible passing accuracy have seen Brahimi contributing 40 assists during his 4-year spell in Portugal.
