New Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly plotting a reunion with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who left Los Angeles Galaxy after a successful 18-month spell in MLS
The Swedish striker will be able to choose his next destination in January, with numerous European clubs looking to snap him up for free.
Although Zlatan’s former side, AC Milan, seemed to be leading the chase, Mourinho’s interference threats to ruin their plans.
According to the Daily Mail, the Portuguese tactician is keen on hiring the 38-year-old superstar, as he is currently struggling for reliable attacking options.

Apart from Harry Kane, Spurs don’t have another old-fashioned striker after failing to find a replacement for Fernando Llorente, who departed London to join Napoli in the summer.
Mourinho has worked with Ibrahimovic in Inter Milan during their trophy-laden stint at the Giuseppe Meazza, before signing him on a Bosman transfer as the Manchester United manager.
Zlatan’s wage demands could blow the Rossoneri out of the water, and the former Chelsea manager intends to use his relationship with Ibra to lure him to north London.
