The former Borussia Dortmund boss has sent scouts to monitor Osimhen and report back, as he looks to bolster his attacking options in the upcoming transfer session.
But, even though Lille know they will not be able to retain the ex-Charleroi man beyond the summer, they are not willing to sanction his transfer this January.
Before moving to France, Osimhen impressed in the Jupiler League, picking up 20 goals for Charleroi while on loan from Wolfsburg, which has recommended him to Christophe Galtier’s side.
