AC Milan are reportedly closing in on a highly-rated Stuttgart defender Ozan Kabak
Even though they’ve struggled to qualify for the Champions League, the Milanese giants are looking to reinforce their squad in the summer.
One of Marco Giampaolo’s first requests since landing at the Stadio San Siro was a new central defender, whom he can pair up with the captain Alessio Romagnoli.
The Rossoneri had been keeping close tabs on Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren and AS Roma’s Kostas Manolas, but they have now turned their attention towards the Turkish youngster.

According to the renowned Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Serie A outfit have already held talks with Kabak’s agent to understand whether the player wants to join the club amid links with Bayern Munich.
If Milan do manage to persuade the 19-year-old to accept their proposal, they will have to fork out €15m to acquire his services from Stuttgart.
If the rumors turn out to be true, the seven-time Champions League winners are ready to trigger Kabak’s release clause to beat Bayern Munich to his signature.
