AC Milan performed a blitzkrieg to secure Lucas Paqueta

    According to the various sources across Europe, AC Milan have beaten the competition of Liverpool and Barcelona to sign the highly-rated Flamengo midfielder Lucas Paqueta.The 7-time Champions League winners have been chasing a top-quality playmaker to bolster the squad, and now it seems they are on the verge of securing the services of the 21-year-old Brazilian prodigy.Paqueta, who scored 9 goals and provided 2 assists in 24 appearances for Flamengo this season, can cover both flanks equally good although his prime position is the one behind the strikers.
    The Rossoneri sporting director Leonardo has reportedly found the agreement with the Brazilian outfit on the basis of €35 million plus bonuses, with the arrival expected to take place in January.Even the sources in South America state that the clubs have already clinched the deal.
