Ajax players’ reaction after Juventus game

Ajax’s pursuit of the Champions League glory continues after the Dutch giants stormed through the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday night

The Lancers had a long way to go before securing their place in the semi-finals following a 1-1 draw with Juventus in Amsterdam back last week.

Their job was even more difficult after Cristiano Ronaldo struck powerful header to put the Bianconeri in front in the 28th minute.

However, it took only six minutes for Erik ten Hag’s men to level the score as Donny van de Beek sent the ball behind Wojciech Szczesny 11 minutes before the half-time whistle.

Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt sealed the Lancers place among Europe’s top four sides with a header in the 67th minute and dumped Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juve out of the competition.

Ajax’s sensational run in the Champions League has also seen them eliminate the defending champions Real Madrid in the previous round, but the way they enjoyed a stunning victory in Turin is something no one should miss.
