The former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte reportedly has no intention of taking charge of Real Madrid although some Spanish media suggested otherwise.
The 49-year-old technician is still trying to resolve his current dispute with the Blues, as his brother-agent recently announced Antonio is not ready to return to action as of yet.
Conte has attracted interest from several notable European clubs, including Real Madrid and AC Milan, with Los Blancos being labeled as the prime suspects to secure his signature.
The reigning European champions are not going through the best of times, as Florentino Perez had to sack Julen Lopetegui following a horror 5-1 defeat to arch-rivals Barcelona.
Santiago Solari has been appointed a caretaker until Los Merengues find a suitable solution, but it’s clear Perez hopes to find a long-term replacement for Zinedine Zidane.
However, it seems that Conte doesn’t consider Real Madrid a ‘profitable’ opportunity, as he looks to take an extended vacation.
Conte has enjoyed great success during his managerial career at Juventus where he wrapped up three successive Serie A titles before moving to Stamford Bridge. During his spell at the Premier League, the Italian manager has won one league title, as well as, one FA Cup trophy.
