Arsenal have reportedly contacted the agent of the Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby over a possible summer transfer, reports in England say
After Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal have now expressed an interest in Diaby, who has enjoyed a stellar season since arriving at Leverkusen from Paris Saint-Germain for €15million last summer.
Desperate to land more first-team action, the 20-year-old winger has picked the right destination for himself, racking up five goals and eight assists in 27 outings in all competitions.
Diaby’s impressive performances at the BayArena have invited a lot of attention, with his price tag going upwards of €30million, which is double of what Leverkusen forked out to sign from PSG less than 12 months ago.
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are confident of completing the deal due to their strong relationship with Diaby’s representatives, which could give them an upper hand over Dortmund.

The Gunners are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season to empower their bid to return to the Premier League elite after missing out on Champions League football for four years in a row.
Faced with a possible loss of several regular first-team players, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil, Mikel Arteta is scouring Europe for potential reinforcements.
Additionally, the London outfit look to offload Henrikh Mkhitaryan permanently, after the attacking midfielder made clear that he wants to extend his stay at Roma, where he plays on loan.
The Armenian’s departure will help Arsenal to raise funds for Diaby, who could be followed by Kai Havertz through the BayArena exit door.
Widely regarded as one of the hottest young prospects in Europe, Havertz could join either Liverpool or Bayern Munich in the summer.
