Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani is reportedly on his way of securing a move to Atletico Madrid, according to the latest reports from Spain
Cavani has fallen out of favor with the manager Thomas Tuchel, who prefers the Inter Milan loanee Mauro Icardi to partner Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
After registering just four Ligue 1 starts this term, the 32-year-old is keen to leave the Parc des Princes six months before his contract runs out.
As per the Spanish outlet, Marca, PSG’s all-time leading goalscorer is close to completing a move to Atletico Madrid, as Diego Simeone looks to bolster his attacking options this winter.
Edinson Cavani has agreed to join Atletico Madrid on a three-year deal at the end of the season.

Los Colchoneros will try to close the operation in January instead of waiting for the summer to sign Cavani without a compensation fee.
Although past his prime, El Matador could be a valuable asset in Atletico’s efforts to roar back in the La Liga title race in the second half of the season.
With Diego Costa often sidelined with injuries, Simeone needs another prolific goalscorer to join Alvaro Morata and Joao Felix in the final third.
Cavani, who has scored over 190 goals for PSG, is a natural-born killer and perfectly fits the bill.
