Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has outlined Arsenal’s goals and his personal expectations for the 2019-20 Premier League campaign
Unai Emery’s men have secured back-to-back triumphs at the beginning of the new season, with Aubameyang scoring winning goals on both occasions.
Eager to return to be protagonists in the Premier League, the Gunners’ bigwigs have made a few major signings to increase the club’s chances of securing a top-four finish.
Well aware of the impact some of the newcomers have already made in the early stage of the season, Aubameyang has hailed Arsenal’s efforts in the transfer window.
“I think as I said earlier, we have made good signings, that will help us,” the Gabonese star said, as broadcasted on Metro.

While he may have acknowledged they are not the title material yet, the 30-year-old has confirmed that the North Londoner’s main goal is to return to the Champions League.
The Gunners will be missing out on Europe’s most prestigious club competition for the third year in a row now, but the former Borussia Dortmund man is hopeful that his side can improve on last season’s fifth-place finish.
“Last season, we were not far away from qualifying for the Champions’ League.
“Whatever happens, that is the most important thing, the most important aim for us. To be back in the Champions League.
“Aside from that, to fight for the title, we know very well that the big guns are ready, but we are also ready and in any case, we are going to give our all to match the big guns if possible.”
