Not only Real Madrid, but Barcelona are also preparing for a summer overhaul if rumors from England turn out to be true
The Catalans are eight points clear of second-placed Atletico Madrid ahead of their massive La Liga showdown this weekend.
Although the Blaugrana also have the chance to win the Champions League given they’ve qualified for the quarter-finals, Ernesto Valverde considers making significant changes at the end of the season.
Ajax’s Frenkie de Jong has already signed a deal and will link up with his new teammates in the summer, while Barca also think of securing the services of his fellow Lancers colleague Matthijs de Ligt.
However, Luis Suarez also needs an adequate replacement, and potential signing of a reliable centre-forward is also on the table.

In order to finance all of their summer transfers, the Catalan giants also have to sell some of their stars.
Philippe Coutinho and Samuel Umtiti have a few suitors interested in splashing out massive figures to lure them away from Camp Nou, and according to some reports from England, Barca will sell both of them.
Along with the Brazilian and the Frenchman, Malcom, Rafinha Alcantara, Denis Suarez, and Jasper Cillessen will also be added to the transfer list.
