Inter Milan’s efforts to sign Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal on a season-long loan have reportedly come a cropper
Determined to add more strength and energy to his midfield, Antonio Conte has been trying to convince the Blaugrana to allow the Chilean to join the Nerazzurri this summer.
The Italian manager has already captured the services of Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella, immediately upon his arrival at the Giuseppe Meazza but is keen to further reinforce his midfield ahead of the new season.

However, as reported by Sports Mole, the Catalans have turned down Inter’s approach as Ernesto Valverde counts on the 32-year-old for the 2019/20 campaign.
Brought in from Bayern Munich last summer, Vidal has made 53 appearances in all competitions for Barcelona last term, netting three goals along the way.
Although he was omitted from the squad for a 1-0 away loss to Athletic Bilbao in the opening day, the former Juventus man will stake his claim for a spot in Valverde’s starting eleven starting this weekend.
