Bayern Munich and Manchester City held talks about Leroy Sane last weekend, but the Germans are priced out of the move, for now, reports in England say
Bayern Munich are eager to finally land Sane after missing out on his signature last summer when the 24-year-old forward picked up a long-term knee injury that has kept him out of action for the entire 2019/20 season.
Hansi Flick has recently confirmed Bayern’s intention to bring in a winger in the upcoming transfer window, fueling speculations about the Germans’ long-standing interest in Sane.
However, according to Sky Sports, Manchester City are sticking to their guns and are adamant Sane won’t leave the Etihad unless their £62m valuation of the left-footed star is met.
Meanwhile, the reigning Bundesliga title holders are not willing to splash out more than £36m, which is their valuation of the former Schalke man, whose contract runs out in summer 2021.

Although the Premier League giants face the risk of losing their prized asset for free at the end of the next season, they seem to have no interest in allowing Bayern to bully them in these negotiations.
Pep Guardiola holds Sane in high esteem and is ready to reintegrate him into his starting eleven when England’s top-flight gets back underway on June 20.
The lightning-quick forward returned to full training and was on the verge of making his 2019/20 Premier League debut before the coronavirus pandemic halted proceedings in England.
