Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to listen to offers for Jerome Boateng this summer to avoid the risk of letting him leave for free at the end of the next season
Boateng, whose deal at Bayern is set to expire next summer, is eager to either see out his contract or put pen to paper on a new one.
Since Hansi Flick replaced Niko Kovac in November 2019, the experienced defender has reclaimed his place in the starting eleven.
The 31-year-old German played a prominent role in the club’s inexorable march to the record-extending eighth straight Bundesliga title.
Indeed, in the absence of the injured Niklas Sule, Boateng has registered 18 top-flight starts for the ‘Bavarians’ and added three more in the Champions League.

However, perennial German champions have yet to offer their stalwart fresh terms and are open to selling him in the coming months, according to Sport Bild.
As per the same outlet, there have been no offers for the towering central defender to this point.
Boateng joined Bayern from Manchester City in 2011 for a reported fee of €13.5million and has since helped to shape one of the most successful spells in the club’s history.
He has 320 appearances for the German side under his belt and has added 17 major titles to his trophy cabinet.
