Borussia Dortmund are reportedly assessing the possibility of hiring the former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino
The Argentinean coach has been sacked by Spurs back in November after five and a half years of service and has been looking for a new challenge ever since.
Pochettino confirmed earlier this month that he doesn’t need a break and would like to return to management as soon as possible, with several major European clubs chasing him.
According to the Sports Mole, unsatisfied with Lucien Favre’s work this season, Borussia Dortmund have now joined the race for the 47-year-old.

Although the BVB clinched a place in the Champions League knockout stage, their struggling for consistency in the Bundesliga this term reportedly puts Favre’s job at risk.
However, Dortmund will face fierce competition should they opt to move for Pochettino, as Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid all keep him on their radars.
‘Die Schwarzgelben’ currently sit third in the Bundesliga, five points adrift of table-toppers Borussia Monchengladbach.
