Breaking: Zinedine Zidane set for Real return

The Spanish show ‘Jugones’ revealed the good news for the White fans as Zinedine Zidane is reportedly set to be re-appointed as new Real Madrid manager.

Zizou will become the new Real Madrid manager in place of Santiago Solari, who outplayed Valladolid yesterday but has, nonetheless, fallen out of favor with Florentino Perez, the fans, and the players.

The French manager left the charge around seven months ago. The club found an instant replacement in Julen Lopetegui, former Spain MNT coach, but it never quite worked.

Florentino Perez has dismissed him immediately after a 5-1 loss to Barcelona at Camp Nou, appointing Solari as an interim solution.

The rumor of Solari being substituted was circling around after Los Blancos were dumped out of Copa del Rey by FC Barcelona. However, it was a humiliating 4-1 loss to Ajax that has put Solari on the ropes.

It was not a secret Zidane had some important offers on the table, but Florentino Perez eventually convinced the Frenchman with a lucrative proposition. This way Jose Mourinho, who was one of the candidates to rule the dressing room, has been disregarded.

Zidane’s official inauguration is scheduled for Monday at 18.00h CET during the board meeting.
