Bruno Fernandes has scored his first-ever goal for Manchester United to help his side secure second successive Premier League triumph
The Red Devils picked up a comfortable 3-0 victory over relegation-threatened Watford at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, to stay within three-point distance to fourth-placed Chelsea.
It was United’s second league success in a row following a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge back on Monday, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men seem to have started gathering momentum ahead of the pivotal stage of the season.
The newly-arrived attacking midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, opened the scoring at the Theatre of Dreams from the spot-kick in the dying moments of the first half after Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster brought him down in the box.

Anthony Martial slotted home a chicky flick over Foster just before the hour mark to increase the hosts’ lead and practically push the visitors over the edge.
Fernandes then showed up again to provide an assist to Mason Greenwood in the 75th minute, with the youngster sealing a much-needed win with a perfectly-placed effort from just inside the box.
A dismal defeat that saw Nigel Pearson’s men produce only two shots on target probably sums up Watford’s disastrous Premier League campaign in a nutshell.
The Hornets have slipped to the relegation zone again and have a one-point deficit to 17th-placed Aston Villa, who yesterday succumbed 2-0 to Southampton on the road.
