Dani Alves has singled out his fellow countryman Vinicius Junior as the most promising young talent in football
Although he showed glimpses of his enormous potential on numerous occasions since making his debut for Real Madrid in September 2018, the Brazilian has yet to establish himself as a regular under Zinedine Zidane.
However, the pacey forward made the most out of his third La Liga start this term, scoring the opening goal against Osasuna on Wednesday, which was his first since February.
Brought in from Flamengo for £40million as a 16-year-old, Vinicius Junior is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects in football.
The former Barcelona star shares that opinion, but he goes one step further, naming his compatriot as the brightest young lad on the planet.

“I would have to say Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid,” Alves said when asked to name the best youngster in the world, according to Daily Mail.
“There are some players that are born with talent, and for sure, he is one of them.
“I had the chance to watch him play closely, with the Brazil national team – I’m positive we will see and hear a lot more about him soon.”
Known for his devastating pace and acceleration, as well as, dribbling ability, Vinicius is expected to become Los Blancos talisman for years to come should he manages to reach his full potential.
