Alphonso Davies has refused to hide his delight for reaching the UEFA Champions League final with Bayern Munich
Reigning Bundesliga champions eased past the competition’s sensation Olympique Lyonnais 3-0 in the revamped semi-finals to reach their first European final since 2012/13.
Memphis Depay wasted a golden opportunity 11 minutes into the game after missing the target one-on-one with Manuel Neuer.
Karl Toko Ekambi followed up with a wayward finish in the 17th minute, seeing his low effort from inside the 6-year box crash off the post.
Serge Gnabry was quick to punish Lyon attackers’ blunders, hammering the ball past Anthony Lopes after a breathtaking solo action in the 18th minute.
The same player took advantage of a mess inside Lyon’s 6-year box to bring Bayern’s tally to two for the match before Robert Lewandowski nodded home a fine header two minutes before the final whistle.
During the post-match interview, Davies has hailed his teammates’ efforts to reach the final.
“It feels good,” he told BT Sport, as relayed by Eurosport. “Everyone is happy and playing well. We are happy to make it to the final. PSG is a good team, right now we celebrate a bit then we focus on the next game.

“It will be a good game, there will be goals in that game. This is what you dream about as a footballer, playing with the best and against the best in Europe.
“It is a dream come true. Playing in the Champions League and getting to the final is everything you could ask for.
“Even though they (the older players in the squad) have won many many titles before they are still hungry to win this one.”
Bayern will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the most highly anticipated fixture on football schedule on Sunday at the Estádio da Luz.
