Paris Saint-Germain wantaway striker Edinson Cavani could join Juventus as a free agent next summer, according to recent reports from England
The Uruguayan’s contract with PSG runs out at the end of the season, which enables him to open negotiations with other clubs over his future in January.
Cavani and Thiago Silva have recently said to be edging closer to the Parc des Princes’ exit door, as they have both entered the final years of their respective contracts, with the Parisians remaining silent over potential extensions.
Manchester United hold a long-standing interest in the 32-year-old, but after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted to focus his attention on young talents, their interest in Cavani has vanished.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, Juventus are leading the race for the former Napoli man, who could arrive at the Allianz Stadium without a compensation fee next summer.
Cavani seems to be preferring a union with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain, although he may find it difficult to break into the first-team initially.
With the Bianconeri’s potent front three of Ronaldo, Higuain, and Dybala arguably one of the best attacking trios in Europe, the prolific goalscorer would face stiff competition to secure his place in Mauricio Sarri’s starting XI.
