Out-of-favor Juventus midfielder Emre Can could return to the Premier League this winter, as Everton plot a massive January swoop for former Liverpool man
As reported by the Daily Express, the fact that 26-year-old has been deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus has alerted Everton, who are weighing up a £30m bid.
Carlo Ancelotti is desperate to bolster his midfield options in the January transfer window and has identified the German international as his top target.
With Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jean-Philippe Gbamin both struggling with injuries, and Andre Gomes ruled out for the remainder of the season, the Toffees need to inject fresh blood into an injury-hit midfield.

Since the arrival of Maurizio Sarri, Can has found himself on the fringes of the Bianconeri squad and has also been ruled out of the Champions League list.
After picking up just eight Serie A appearances during the first half of the season, the ex-Liverpool man is looking to switch away from the Allianz Arena for regular first-team opportunities.
In addition to Everton, Inter Milan have also shown interest in the deep-lying playmaker, but the Nerazzurri are reportedly reluctant to meet Juventus’ demands and the player’s whopping £100,000-a-week wages.
Can recently refused an opportunity to come back to the Premier League and link up with Manchester United, even though the Red Devils found an agreement with the perennial Italian champions for his transfer.
