Kai Havertz has made up his mind on his future and is determined to swap Bayer Leverkusen for Chelsea as early as next week, reports in England say
After securing the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, Chelsea have named Havertz their next big-money target, as Frank Lampard looks to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City.
Despite already dishing out around £80million on the likes of Werner and Ziyech, the Premier League giants are ready to defy the financial fallout of the coronavirus crisis and fork out a similar figure on the 21-year-old German starlet.
According to Sky Sports, Lampard has got Havertz’s consent, with the prodigious forward reportedly pushing Leverkusen to green-light the move before their Europa League match against Rangers next week.

Chelsea and Leverkusen remain someway apart in their valuations of the player, though, which has been holding up the deal so far.
Indeed, the Germans stubbornly stick to their £90million asking price, while the Blues hope to close the deal in the region of £70million.
Widely regarded as one of the hottest young properties in Europe’s top-five leagues, Havertz possesses much-required football audaciousness to unlock defenses at will.
While enjoying a rise to the stardom at the BayArena, the gifted forward has bagged 45 goals and laid on 31 assists to his teammates in 148 appearances across various competitions.
