Bayern Munich stalwart Arjen Robben could swap the Bundesliga for Serie A next summer, with Inter Milan trying to sign the Dutchman on a Bosman transfer.
The 34-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the season, but the Bavarians have hesitated to offer him an extension so far.
As well as his fellow teammate Franck Ribery, Robben’s future at the Allianz Stadium hangs in the balance, with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge already started searching for some fresh talents.
Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic and Mateo Politano have been struggling for form this season, which is why the Nerazzurri look to hire a reliable attacking option for the next season.
The Milan outfit are on their way of securing back-to-back Champions Leauge appearances, and Robben’s experience could be of help to Luciano Spalletti.
In spite of his age, the former Real Madrid man has scored five goals and grabbed one assist in 13 top-flight outings this season.
