Barcelona and Juventus could arrange a like-for-like swap deal involving Ivan Rakitic heading to Serie A, with Douglas Costa moving in the opposite direction
The possibility of the two players swapping allegiances emerged during the January transfer window, but the deals fell through, although it now seems that they have only been postponed until the summer.
As per the Daily Mail, Barcelona and Juventus will sit at the negotiating table at the end of the season to discuss exchanging the Croatian midfielder and the Brazilian forward.
Rakitic, who remains a permanent fixture in the Catalans squad, having racked up 31 appearances in all competitions this term, is not enjoying the best of times at the Camp Nou.

The 32-year-old, who arrived at Barcelona from Sevilla in 2014, has been linked with a move away from La Liga since the last summer, with Juventus among the suitors interested in capturing his services.
Meanwhile, the reigning Spanish champions, who have been tracking Douglas Costa for a long time now, could accelerate their interest in the 29-year-old amid Ousmane Dembele’s uncertain future at the club.
The former Bayern Munich star has failed to establish himself as a regular first-team player under Maurizio Sarri, which has seen him pick up only 18 outings this campaign.
