Manchester United’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho has suffered a major blow as the youngster reveals his desire to win the Bundesliga title with BVB next season
After failing to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League this season, the Red Devils look to strengthen their squad for the next year.
Among the players linked with a summer move to Old Trafford is Dortmund’s highly-regarded youngster Jadon Sancho.
The technically-gifted 19-year-old winger has racked up an impressive 13 goals and 19 assists across all competitions for BVB this term.
However, even though several major European clubs closely monitor his development, former Manchester City youth product wants to remain in the Bundesliga next season.
“Next season our target is to win, not come second,” he said.

“I’m really happy with how I played this season. I wasn’t playing that much at the start of the season but was in the team more often later on. It’s all about hard work.”
The pacey Englishman has helped Dortmund finish second in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich, with only Paco Alcacer and Marco Reus scoring more league goals than him this campaign.
Sancho’s standout performance under Lucien Favre has also earned him four caps for the England national team.
