Out-of-favor Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard reportedly considers leaving the club next summer, with two sides interested in capturing his services
Lingard has become something of a scapegoat at the Theatre of Dreams after producing underwhelming performances throughout the entire 2019.
The Englishman failed to provide a single Premier League goal or assist in the last calendar year, losing his place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting XI.
He has found himself in low regard by the club hierarchy and United fans, which culminated in his desire to leave the Red Devils as soon as possible.
After appointing Mino Raiola as his entourage, the 27-year-old has sent a clear message to United that he wants to start a new challenge elsewhere, given the current relationship between the Old Trafford outfit and the so-called super-agent.

Now, as reported by the Metro, Atletico Madrid and AS Roma are both interested in offering Lingard an escape route from the Premier League.
However, a prospect of swapping United for the Spanish capital should be taken with a grain of salt, considering Diego Simeone’s playing system and the players he currently has at his disposal.
A genuine lack of creativity and a shortage of goals will hardly recommend Lingard to Los Colchoneros, as he doesn’t seem like a straightforward solution to their ongoing scoring problems.
A potential departure for the Stadio Olimpico seems to be a more likely scenario, especially after what happened with Chris Smalling and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the past year.
Raiola already established contacts with Roma during the January transfer window, but Solskjaer reportedly pulled the plug on Lingard’s departure due to a lack of options in the attacking line.
