Jesse Lingard’s agent Mino Raiola has reportedly tried to broker a move to Serie A as his client’s future at Manchester United continues to hang in the air
Lingard has yet to make an impact in the Premier League this season and has found himself behind Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, and Mason Greenwood in the pecking order.
With United seemingly closing in on the Sporting Lisbon playmaker, Bruno Fernandes, the 27-year-old forward could see his game-time further reduced in the second half of the season.
His decision to link up with an unpopular figure, Mino Raiola, might suggest that the England international believes his adventure with the Red Devils is drawing to a close.
As reported by the Daily Express, the so-called super-agent has recently contacted four Serie A sides, including AC Milan, Inter Milan, Roma, and Napoli, trying to find a new club for his client.
Raiola and United are not having the best of relationships, especially after what happened with Paul Pogba recently, which also indicates Lingard’s future lies away from Old Trafford.
Sources in England claim his departure is more likely to take place at the end of the season, although they refuse to rule out potential winter breakup.
