Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the Reds’ Champions League semi-final tie with Barcelona will be something special for both the Merseysiders and their former stars Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho
The Premier League giants have dumped Porto out of the competition for the second year in a row to book their tickets for the semis, while Barcelona outclassed Manchester United.
It will be the first time since the 2006-07 campaign that these two sides go head-to-head in the Champions League knockout stage, and La Liga holders hope to settle the score with the Reds.

Two of Liverpool’s former idols, Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez, will feature the Blaugrana’s squad to face Jurgen Klopp’s crew, and the German manager enjoys the prospect of the upcoming showdown.
“For them [Coutinho and Suarez], for these two boys, it’s very special. For us, it’s special. They are both Liverpool legends, that’s brilliant.
“But I think it will not be a friendly game so we have to fight, we have to work – they will do it as well.
“It’s so wonderful that you play with Liverpool against Barcelona in a European semi-final, that itself is a wonderful message and now let’s try to do the best and we’ll see what happens.”
