Juventus’ chances of bringing back Paul Pogba from Manchester United have increased after Real Madrid sealed the deal with Ajax for Donny van de Beek
Juventus have been looking for a reunion with Pogba since last summer, but Real’s involvement had been throwing a spanner in the works.
However, Los Blancos have now captured the Lancers rising star, Van de Beek, and have cooled their interest in the French midfielder, opening the way for the Bianconeri to re-sign Pogba.
As reported by the British outlet, Daily Mail, the reigning Serie A champions will step up their pursuit of the 26-year-old World Cup winner now that the La Liga giants are out of the picture.
Pogba’s future at Old Trafford has been compromised after his agent Mino Raiola publically criticized the Red Devils for ‘ruining his client’s career.’
Indeed, in light of current events, the Red Devils have named the price for their wantaway star, slapping a hefty £150m price on his head.
Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri will be looking to include Adrien Rabiot or Emre Can as a makeweight in the deal to take Pogba back to the Allianz Stadium and offer an additional £51.3m to get the deal over the line.
