Juventus will reportedly go head-to-head with Inter Milan for the outgoing Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku
The Nerazzuri have been tracking the Belgian star ever since Antonio Conte took charge of the team earlier this summer.
However, the Milanese giants have seen their initial £54m bid for Lukaku rejected by the Red Devils, who are reportedly holding out for £80m.
Although Conte still hopes to talk up the Inter hierarchy to match United’s demands, he may still miss out on his prime objective should Juventus join the race.
BREAKING: Juventus are preparing an offer for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku and are willing to include Paulo Dybala as part of the deal, according to Sky Sources— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) July 26, 2019
According to the British publication, Mirror, the Bianconeri are prepared to offer Paulo Dybala in return for the 26-year-old, as Mauricio Sarri looks to bolster his attack.
The Italian coach is short of attacking options, as Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain, are both expected to leave the Allianz Stadium this summer.
Meanwhile, Dybala has endured a disappointing season by his standards, netting just five goals in 30 Serie A outings last campaign.
Having found himself on the fringes of the Juventus squad since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, the 25-year-old Argentinean may be tempted to leave Turin for a more prominent role in another team.
