Juventus have joined Arsenal in the race for the highly-rated Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, according to various claims
Partey’s future at Atletico Madrid is hanging by a thread, as Juventus and Arsenal are ready to go head-to-head for the Ghanaian’s signature.
The Gunners hold a long-standing interest in the 27-year-old box-to-box midfielder, as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad ahead of the next season.
But, with Los Colchoneros continuing to hold out for a €50m buy-out clause, the Premier League giants have yet to make any progress in negotiations.
As per the Inside Football, Juventus will try to beat Arsenal to Partey by offering some of their first-team stars as a makeweight in the deal.

Reigning Serie A champions have devised a strategy to overcome the sticking point in the shape of Atletico’s valuation.
Indeed, the ‘Bianconeri’ are hopeful the La Lig outfit will accept one of Douglas Costa or Federico Bernardeschi to bring down the price.
After replacing Maurizio Sarri at the helm earlier this month, Andrea Pirlo is keen to overhaul a squad that faltered badly in the Champions League this term.
Blaise Matuidi has already agreed to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami, while Miralem Pjanic signed for Barcelona in a swap deal involving Arthur Melo going in the opposite direction.
Partey, who shined for Diego Simeone’s side in 2019/20, is seen as an upgrade to the current midfield options Pirlo has at his disposal.
