Toni Kroos has played down ‘wild’ speculations linking Real Madrid with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Kylian Mbappe, and Kai Havertz
Real Madrid are expected to have a busy summer after enduring a tumultuous 2019/20 season, with Zinedine Zidane looking to reinforce his squad ahead of the new season.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, and Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz are some of the names linked with a switch to the Spanish capital.
However, although aware of the rumors, the Los Blancos stalwart Toni Kroos believes that such speculations turn out to be false in ‘80% of the cases.’
“I don’t know what the club wants and what financial expenses are possible,” Kroos said, as relayed by Goal.com.

“The players mentioned are interesting for many clubs because they are young and of good quality. But, I’ve heard so many names in my six years in Madrid that could come and go, and 80 percent of the time things have turned out differently.”
Real Madrid will return to their La Liga commitments after the coronavirus pandemic on Sunday when they welcome Eibar to the Alfredo di Stéfano Stadium.
Sitting two points adrift of arch-rivals Barcelona, Zidane’s men will look to remain within the touching distance and keep their dreams of claiming the title alive.
