Liverpool are reportedly ready to launch a summer bid to land the Roma star midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, reports in England say
Jurgen Klopp prepares for a summer clear-out, with several first-team players, including Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Dejan Lovren, expected to move on in the coming months.
Liverpool boss is, therefore, keen to add a few more pieces to his puzzle and has set his sights on the prodigious Roma midfielder, Nicolo Zaniolo, according to the TEAMtalk.
Zaniolo, who joined the Stadio Olimpico outfit from Inter Milan two years ago, impressed in Serie A this season before a cruciate ligament injury picked up in January curtailed his momentum.
Nonetheless, Klopp sees the 20-year-old Italian as an upgrade to his current midfield options and is ready to exploit Roma’s financial difficulties to strike a deal.
Since the Giallorossi announced debts of €278.5million back in May, they may be forced to renounce some of their first-team stars to overcome the ongoing financial troubles.
Roma could propose an exchange involving Dejan Lovren in order for Liverpool to sign playmaker Nicolo Zaniolo this summer.

Moreover, Roma hold a long-standing interest in the out-of-favor Liverpool centre-back, Dejan Lovren, who could be included as a part of the package to take Zaniolo away from the Italian capital.
The Croatia international has found himself below Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Joel Matip in Klopp’s pecking order and will probably be allowed to leave Anfield this summer.
Still, the Premier League giants will face stiff competition from Juventus, who are keeping Zaniolo in high acclaim and have an interest to bring him to Turin when the transfer window reopens for business.
