Liverpool have reportedly accelerated their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore by presenting an official offer, reports say
According to the Spanish outlet, Mundo Deportivo, as transmitted by the Daily Star, runaway Premier League leaders have stepped up their pursuit of the in-demand Wolves forward Adama Traore.
Whether or not Liverpool’s offer has been sent to the club or the player is still open for interpretation, but it’s been a statement of intent to outfox stiff competition.
In addition to the Reds, Barcelona and Manchester City are also credited with the interest in 24-year-old Spaniard, who has been nothing short of outstanding since joining the Molineux outfit in 2018.
Traore has enjoyed a stellar 2019/20 season with Wolves, racking up six goals and 12 assists in all competitions, with nine of those assists coming in the Premier League.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has already praised the quick-silver forward on multiple occasions this season, opening the door for a possible future transfer.
The German manager needs to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season, since both of his headline performers, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, are expected to miss out on the considerable patch of the second half of the 2020/21 campaign due to their international commitments.
Indeed, both of Liverpool’s African forwards will spearhead their national teams in the upcoming CAF Africa Cup of Nations, which will leave Klopp short of reliable attacking options.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund tactician has already failed to land Timo Werner, who has opted to swap RB Leipzig for Chelsea, and Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz seems to be willing to follow in his countryman’s path.
