Manchester United have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of the Porto left-back Alex Telles over a potential summer move
Alex Telles’ entourages and the player himself arrived in Manchester earlier on Monday to discuss the prospect of swapping Porto for the Premier League.
According to the TEAMtalk, the Brazilian wide defender has a £27million price tag slapped on his head by the Primeira Liga side.
After impressing for Porto for the past four years, the 27-year-old has become one of the most wanted properties in Europe.
Chelsea, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and several other of Europe’s powerhouses have expressed an interest in Telles.
But, Manchester United, who have also been offered the chance to sign Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, are at the front of the queue.

Despite producing an outstanding season at Sevilla, Reguilon, who returned to Real Madrid after his loan in Andalusia expired, will probably move on this summer.
Zinedine Zidane will continue to rely on the likes of Ferland Mendy and Marcelo to cover the left-back position next term. Therefore, he is ready to give up the 23-year-old Spaniard.
Los Blancos have reportedly already contacted Manchester United to talk about Reguilon’s potential switch to Old Trafford.
The highly-rated youngster is available for around £18million, which would make him a bargain capture at that price.
Sergio Reguilón has been offered to Man United. The board and Ole are considering him as an ‘option’. They’re gonna decide soon. Also Sevilla have asked to have him back on loan from Real Madrid. The race is still on [also for other clubs]. 🔴 #MUFC #RealMadrid #transfers

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is also working on a deal to bring in Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.
There’s been a breakthrough in negotiations over the past couple of days. The English winger has been Solskjaer’s top transfer target all summer long.
