Manchester City are reportedly ready to renounce Leroy Sane’s services this summer, but only if the right offer comes to their desk, reports in England say.
Heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich, Sane has been angling for a return to his homeland ever since the Bavarians’ interest first emerged in public.
Indeed, the 24-year-old forward has been adamant he will not extend his contract at the Etihad that runs out in the summer of 2021, hoping to mount more pressure on City to let him leave.
Although Bayern came close to landing the German star last summer, the negotiations collapsed at the eleventh hour after Sane picked up a long-term injury.
With the highly-rated winger now entering the final year of his contract in England, the perennial Bundesliga champions will be looking to snap up the player at a bargain price.
The latest reports suggested that Bayern could table a £35million bid for Sane, who was valued at £130million when the Germans last tried to broked the deal with Manchester City.

Now, according to the Evening Standard, the Premier League giants consider softening their stance on their prized asset if they fail to convince him to sign a new contract soon.
But, the same source also states that Manchester City would rather see the former Schalke 04 man move on for free next summer than depart for peanuts at the end of the season.
Similar news recently surfaced in Germany not long ago, indicating the Citizens will continue to play hardball with Bayern and throw more spanners in the works on the proposed transfer.
Sane, who missed the entire 2019/20 season due to an injury, is one of Pep Guardiola’s favorite players and was on the verge of returning to the first-team before the coronavirus pandemic brought the Premier League to a halt.
