Manchester City could offload Leroy Sane to raise funds for in-demand Benfica prodigy Joao Felix, according to the latest reports from England
With Riyad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, and former Schalke star all competing for two spots in the starting eleven, one could leave Etihad to make way for a new signing.
After failing to agree on a new contract, the German winger seems to be surplus to requirements and could be up for sale, with Bayern Munich reported being in the driver’s seat.
The Bavarians appear to be ready to fork out £70 million to bring the 23-year-old back to the Bundesliga, as they prepare for life after Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
However, the Citizens are reportedly looking for at least £90 million to sanction the move, especially after Sane’s impressive season that has seen him score 16 goals and provide 18 assists across all competitions.

If the left-footed attacker departs, the reigning Premier League holders could turn their attention to Manchester United target Joao Felix, who has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Europe this term.
Even though he is still a raw material, 20 goals and 11 assists for Benfica this season indicate he has the capacity to follow in the footsteps of his senior international colleagues, such as Bernardo Silva and Diogo Jota, who have impressed in the English top tier.
But, the 19-year-old won’t come cheap, as the Eagles have already made it clear their jewel won’t be leaving Estádio da Luz for less than £100 million.
