Manchester City will reportedly make a new effort to wrap up the services of the Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar next January
After missing out on his signature during the summer, the reigning Premier League holders seem reluctant to drop their interest in the 24-year-old and are already plotting a winter move.
After Vincent Kompany departed for Anderlecht in the summer, Guardiola has refused to fill the void even though he has tried to lure Skriniar to the Emirates back then.

However, a genuine urge has been created with the injuries from Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, as the Spaniard can’t afford to rely on Nicolas Otamendi as his only centre-back option.
Therefore, the Citizens could make another push for the highly-rated defender when the transfer window reopens in January, especially with Manchester United out of their way.
City’s crosstown rivals had also been looking to add Skriniar to their ranks but have eventually ended up signing Harry Maguire from Leicester City.
