Manchester City are set to rekindle interest in free-agent Dani Alves, according to the recent reports
The Brazilian defender has parted ways with Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer following a successful two-year spell in the Ligue 1.
After winning his second Copa America trophy, the 36-year-old has headed towards Europe, with two major clubs reportedly showing interest in his services.
It is still uncertain whether the Citizens are among the interested sides, although the City boss Pep Guardiola has never hidden his appreciation for the former Barcelona right-back.

The Spanish manager holds a long-standing interest in Alves, with whom he has worked previously, during his time at Camp Nou, and would now like to work with again.
Guardiola is eager to find a top-class right back to challenge Kyle Walker for the spot in the starting eleven after it became clear that Danilo won’t be playing for City next season.
The ex-Porto man will probably leave the Etihad Stadium this summer, with Juventus showing ambitions to lure him to Serie A.
Another club that could be lining up a move for the experienced defender may be Barcelona, as Nelson Semedo failed to live up to expectations the last term.
