Inter Milan and AC Milan have reportedly both been offered a chance to sign the out-of-favor Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic
After being handed just 22 minutes of action this season, the Serbian seems destined to leave Old Trafford two years since arriving from Chelsea.
Unlike last campaign when he collected 38 top-flight outings, the 31-year-old is no longer instrumental in Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s plans for the Red Devils.
Heavily relying on Scott McTominay since the turn of the 2019/20 campaign, the Norwegian manager is looking to cut ties with the experienced Serbia international.

According to the British outlet, Sports Mole, United have already made steps to fulfill Solskajer’s wish, offering Matic’s services to AC Milan and their arch-rivals Inter.
Desperate to land a top-class midfielder to boost their chances of returning to the Champions League, the Rossoneri would welcome the former Benfica star with open arms.
Meanwhile, the new Nerazzurri boss, Antonio Conte, who is familiar with Matic’s capabilities from their time at Chelsea, would also embrace the prospect of a reunion.
However, the midfielder’s staggering wages seem to have already scared away the Milanese giants, who are not able to compete with United’s financial power.
