Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic is reportedly ready to dump Manchester United interest as he aims to link up with Barcelona, reports suggest
Pjanic has been linked with a move to Manchester United, as well as Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to bolster his midfield options.
The Bosnia international has also emerged as a possible part of a swap deal involving the Blaugrana metronome Arthur Melo, who appeals to the Turin outfit very much.
An obedient servant and a reliable, constant performer throughout his career at the Allianz Stadium, the 30-year-old has been an ever-present figure for Juventus ever since arriving from Roma in 2016.
Although he is contracted to the Bianconeri until 2023, the perennial Serie A champions could renounce his services this summer, as Maurizio Sarri looks to reshape his squad ahead of the new season.
The Italian coach is eager to land the Barcelona playmaker Arthur and is willing to offer Pjanic as a makeweight in the deal, with the Catalans reportedly favoring such a prospect.

According to the English publication, CaughtOffside, Pjanic is ‘seduced’ by the possibility of playing at Camp Nou so much that he is ready to turn down a chance to join Manchester United.
Solskjaer is keen to add to a top-class player to his midfield line, as he prepares for life after Paul Pogba, who seems destined to move on at the end of the season.
However, Pjanic’s decision will force him to look elsewhere, with the likes of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish and Leicester City’s James Maddison remaining viable solutions.
