Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskajer insists his side will be looking for all three points against crosstown rivals Manchester City when the two lock horns on Saturday
After seeing off Tottenham Hotspur during the midweek, the Norwegian is confident the Red Devils can claim one of the biggest scalps of all when they visit the Etihad Stadium.
There’s no doubt that Solskjaer’s team can draw inspiration from their impressive record against the top Premier League sides this season.
In addition to Tottenham, the Old Trafford outfit also outplayed Chelsea on the road, while being held to identical 1-1 draws against Arsenal and Liverpool.

On the eve of United’s trip to the Etihad, the former Molde manager has commented on his ambition to collect another precious victory and reduce the gap on City.
“It’s a chance for us to challenge them and bridge that gap a little bit, so we’re going there to win,” the Norwegian told the club’s official website.
“We’re going there to get a result, even though we know it’s going to be difficult.
“I don’t want to put any feelings into any other teams or managers. We might not want them to be scared of us. We want them to be arrogant and confident,” he continued.
“s a player you don’t have to shout the loudest to throw the sucker punch. So it’s not about shouting the loudest, it’s about doing the talking on the pitch.”
Impressively, the Red Devils have run out winners in two of their last four Premier League trips to City, losing once in the remaining two games in that sequence.
