Premier League giants line up summer move for Nathan Ake

Tottenham Hotspur plot a summer move of the highly-rated Bournemouth centre-back Nathan Ake, according to the reports from England

With Manchester United looking to lure Toby Alderweireld away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this term, the North Londoners will need to take actions to keep their squad competitive for the next season.

Per The Sun, the Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has labeled the Cherries’ rearguard Nathan Ake as the ideal replacement for the Belgium international should the 30-year-old decide to leave.

However, the Dutch international won’t come cheap, with Bournemouth slapping a £40million price tag on their star centre-half.

After a frustrating spell at Chelsea, the 24-year-old has made a name for himself at the Vitality Stadium, emerging as one of the most talented young defenders in the Premier League.

Although the Blues intend to exercise the buy-back option in Ake’s contract, their ongoing problems with the Financial Fair Play could pave the way for the Spurs to clinch the deal.
