Juventus outcast Mario Mandzukic could still end up in the Premier League after his move to Manchester United collapsed this summer
After Romelu Lukaku’s departure for Inter Milan, the Red Devils have said to set their sights on the 33-year-old forward to bolster Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attacking options.
However, the Norwegian has never stepped up his interest in the Croatian due to his age and concerns about his capabilities of keeping up with the high tempo in the Premier League.
But, the former Atletico Madrid man, who has yet to feature for the Bianconeri in Serie A this term, might still continue his career on the island, with West Ham United being credited with an interest.
According to the British publication, Mirror, the Hammers are willing to take Mandzukic on loan, as they are also worried about his age and fitness condition.

Manuel Pellegrini is expected to take some action in the January transfer window after Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez, Lucas Perez, and Andy Carroll left the club this summer.
Although the London outfit secured the services of Sebastien Haller and Albian Ajeti, it may not be enough for Pellegrini after Michel Antonio sustained a hamstring injury that will force him out of action until February.
Meanwhile, Mandzukic has also failed to make it to the Old Lady’s list of 22 players for the upcoming Champions League campaign along with Emre Can and Giorgio Chiellini.
