Paris Saint-Germain reportedly line up a summer move for Manchester United shot-stopper David De Gea to replace the outgoing Gianluigi Buffon
The Italian goalkeeper will leave Parc des Princes once his contract with PSG runs out at the end of the month, and the Parisians are looking to find a long-term replacement for the Italy legend.
Thomas Tuchel’s side holds a long-standing interest in the Spaniard, whom they’ve tried to sign last summer but the deal has never gained momentum.
Now that the 28-year-old has one year left on his contract, PSG could step up their interest, especially considering De Gea is unlikely to renew with the Red Devils.
Even though the parties have been negotiating contract terms for over a year, the Premier League giants are unwilling to accept De Gea’s demand over a substantial pay rise.
But, if the French heavyweights fail to convince Manchester United to sell their star this summer, they may turn their attention to AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The highly-rated Italian could depart San Siro in the upcoming transfer session after the Rossoneri struggled to secure a top-four finish in Serie A.
