Radja Nainggolan has laughed off Inter Milan exit amid rumors linking him with a potential return to AS Roma
Although the 31-year-old has not enjoyed a memorable maiden season at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, his contribution in the Nerazzurri’s pursuit of the Serie A top-four finish has eventually proved decisive.
The Belgian midfielder has scored a winning goal against Empoli in the final round of Serie A fixtures last season to propel the Milanese outfit to the Champions League.
However, Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi seem to be left out of Antonio Conte’s picture of the new Inter team, and both could depart the club this summer.
Some recent reports in Italy have suggested that the former Cagliari man could make a shock return to AS Roma, whom he left 12 months ago.
It’s believed that Inter want to cash in on the Antwerp native, while the Giallorossi look to bring the prodigal son home.
But, talking about his future under new boss, Nainggolan has insisted on his current contract with the Nerazzurri.
“I have a contract with Inter, and I’m calm,” he said.
