Rafinha Alcantara is hopeful that Barcelona will give Valencia a discount on a current asking price to help him land at the Estadio de Mestalla this summer
After spending a brief loan spell at Inter Milan in the 2017-18 campaign, the 26-year-old returned to the Camp Nou last summer only to register five La Liga outings in the 2018-19 campaign.
Desperate for regular first-team action, the Brazilian attacking midfielder is eager to change accommodation this transfer window, and Valencia seem eager to fulfill his desire.
The Bats have already contacted the Blaugrana over Rafinha’s transfer, but the player’s £13.5m price tag currently represents an obstacle.

But, the former Celta man still hopes that Catalans will soften their stance by the end of the transfer session as he hopes to link up with Marcelino Garcia Toral’s side.
Even though he has racked up 85 outings for Barcelona so far, Rafinha has never managed to establish himself as a regular starter in Catalonia.
One of the reasons the left-footed playmaker has been struggling for consistency is the injury proneness that has seen him pick up two nasty knee injuries over the past couple of seasons.
