Arsenal have joined Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan in the race for the outgoing Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to reports from England and Spain
Disappointed by an underwhelming Premier League campaign, Unai Emery is looking to reinforce his squad to compete for the top-four finish next season.
Although the Gunners have to settle their fragile defense first, Emery seems poised to lure the 22-year-old Spaniard away from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, and Granit Xhaka have all endured mixed fortunes last season, which forced the Spanish manager to search for a reliable option for the midfield.

The former Real Betis star has not enjoyed the best of times ever since swapping Andalusia for Madrid, having collected just 35 top-flight outings for Los Blancos in the last two years.
However, the Gunners will have to beat stiff competition from the London rivals Tottenham and the Serie A giants AC Milan to bring the Spain U21 international to the Emirates Stadium.
Still, Arsenal are reportedly ready to fork out €50m to secure Ceballos’ services, which will certainly blow both the Spurs and the Rossoneri out of the water.
