Real Madrid suffered their first La Liga defeat of the season inviting the frustrated fans to call for Zinedine Zidane’s dismissal
Undefeated in the opening eight rounds of La Liga fixtures, Los Blancos visited the newly-promoted Mallorca on Saturday evening, looking to extend their unbeaten run at the Estadio de Son Moix to eight consecutive league matches.
Instead, the Mallorca forward Lago Junior broke the deadlock in the seventh minute with a perfectly-placed shot from inside the box, with the visitors failing to give a proper response afterwards.
Heavily-paid summer acquisition, Luka Jovic, once again failed to live up to expectations, barely touching the ball before handing his place to Federico Valverde in the 66th minute.

Things went from bad to worse for Los Merengues when Alvaro Odriozola picked up his second yellow card of the match, leaving ten-man Real high and dry.
Although it was Real’s first league defeat of the season, the fans are clearly unhappy with the way they side performs on the field, blaming head coach Zinedine Zidane for their club’s underwhelming displays.
According to the Daily Express, devastated fans are desperate to see the former boss Jose Mourinho returns to the Santiago Bernabeu, and they are urging the leadership to make the managerial change as soon as possible.
Los Blancos fans quickly went to social media to express their frustration and demand Zidane’s farewell.
