Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up a £126million bid for Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah, as Florentino Perez prepares a massive squad overhaul
Real Madrid will look to offload Gareth Bale at the end of the season to raise funds for new signings and also get rid of his staggering £600,000-a-week wages.
But, the Welshman’s high salary makes him unreachable for the majority of European clubs, with Manchester United and his former employees Tottenham Hotspur both giving up on his pursuit last summer after understanding Bale’s demands.
Yet, Florentino Perez is ready to splash out £126million to bring in Salah regardless of the 30-year-old’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu, according to the British publication, talkSPORT.
Los Blancos’ bigwig knows he has to inject fresh blood into an aging squad to help Zinedine Zidane restore the most successful European club to Europe’s royalty.

A 2-1 home loss to Manchester City in their UEFA Champions League last-16 clash last night was a clear sign to Perez that he needs to lure new faces to Madrid to keep Real in touch with other Europe’s powerhouses.
Although Los Merengues were understood to be keen on snapping up PSG’s superstar Kylian Mbappe, whose valuation currently stands at £252m, Perez seems to be preferring Salah.
The left-footed Egyptian attacker arrived at Anfield in 2017 and quickly established himself as one of the most lethal forwards in the Premier League.
He has racked up 69 goals and 27 assists in England’s top-tier for the Reds over the past three seasons, becoming the Anfield fan favorite.
